Withdrawal and refund
Last updated: 11 September 2026
You have fourteen days to change your mind after a purchase, and you are refunded in full. This page explains how.
1. Your right of withdrawal
If you buy the Pass plan as a consumer, you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to give a reason and without penalty (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).
2. Immediate access, and the right kept open
The Pass plan is digital content supplied immediately after purchase. By confirming your order, you expressly request that performance begin at once and you are informed of this (article L221-25).
The law would allow you to be made to waive your right of withdrawal at that precise moment. Loreside has chosen not to do so: your right of withdrawal stays open for the fourteen days and the refund is full, even if you have already used the service.
This right lapses only if the service has been fully performed with your prior agreement and your acknowledgement that you lose that right (article L221-28 1°), which does not happen in the case of continuous access.
3. How to exercise this right
The simplest way: write to contact@loreside.com from the address used for the purchase, stating that you are withdrawing. A single sentence is enough.
You may also use the model form reproduced below, or any other unambiguous statement. The request is recorded as of the date it is sent: keep your email.
When the Pass plan opens, an online withdrawal function will also be available from your customer area, reachable in two steps.
4. Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To the attention of Johann Flipo, 6 rue d'Armaille, 75017 Paris, France, contact@loreside.com:
I hereby give notice of my withdrawal from the contract for the supply of the following service:
Ordered on: ... Name of the consumer: ... Address of the consumer: ... Date: ... Signature (only if this form is notified on paper): ...
(Model form from the annex to article R221-1 of the French Consumer Code.)
5. Refund
The refund covers all the sums paid, with no deduction.
It is made no later than fourteen days after your request is received, by the same means of payment as the one used for the purchase, unless you agree otherwise. No fee is withheld.
As the sale is carried out by Paddle as Merchant of Record, the refund is executed by Paddle. Writing to contact@loreside.com is enough: the request is passed on and followed up until the refund is actually made.
6. Legal guarantee of conformity
Independently of the right of withdrawal, the digital content supplied must conform to its description. The legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services applies (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code).
If the service does not work as announced, write to support@loreside.com. You are entitled to have it brought into conformity and, if that is not possible, to a reduction of the price or to termination of the contract.
7. No subscription
The Loreside Pass is a one-off purchase with no term. There is no automatic charge and no automatic renewal: nothing renews without a new action on your part, and nothing stops on an agreed date.
There is therefore nothing to cancel, and the rules on renewal notice and on online cancellation of subscriptions do not apply here. Should Loreside cease to operate the service, you would be informed at least six months in advance.
