How much does GTA 6 cost?
GTA 6 costs $79.99 in the United States and €79.99 in the eurozone for the Standard edition, and $99.99 and €99.99 for the Ultimate edition. These are list prices read on the stores themselves, not conversions.
The honest answer is that it depends on where you live, and the gap is wider than a currency conversion suggests. We read the price in 33 markets, on the storefronts themselves. Every reading carries the store it came from and the date it was taken.
Why the price is not the same everywhere
The game has no single worldwide price mechanically converted into each currency. The publisher and the console stores set a price market by market, and that price reflects local taxes, local purchasing power and each store's own rules.
Two countries sharing a currency usually share a price: that is a decision, not an exchange rate.
Converting a foreign price into your currency does not tell you what you will pay. You pay the price set for your store region, in its currency.
The two editions
Two editions are on sale, Standard and Ultimate. In every market we read, Ultimate costs more than Standard. The exact gap in your currency is on the price index, and what each edition contains is on the editions page.
What we read, and what we did not
What we read: the list price displayed by the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store in 33 markets, in the currency shown by the store. Every line carries its storefront and the date of the reading.
What we did not read: promotional prices, key reseller prices, bundles and subscription offers. Those change daily and depend on the seller, not on the publisher. A page claiming to track them would be out of date the day it was published.
What can change: a store can adjust a price at any time, and taxes vary. That is exactly why every figure here is dated. If a date looks old to you, it is old, and we would rather say so.
Which platforms the price covers
The game releases on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PS4 or Xbox One version, so no price for those consoles.

Is the Ultimate edition worth the difference? That depends on what it contains, which is listed on the editions page. What we can tell you is the exact difference in your currency, which is on the price index.
Can I buy it cheaper in another country? Console stores price against your account region. Changing region has consequences for payment methods and store credit, set out in each store's own rules. We describe what the stores say, we do not advise.
Will the price drop after release? We do not predict prices. When a price changes on a store we read, the table changes and its date changes with it.
