Cookies and trackers
Last updated: 11 September 2026
Loreside sets no audience measurement cookie and no advertising tracker. That is why no banner asks for your agreement: there is nothing to accept.
1. What does not exist here
No audience measurement tool, no advertising network, no social network button that follows you, no third-party cookie, no profiling, no resale of data.
The practical consequence: we do not know who you are, and we have no way of recognising you from one visit to the next.
2. What is saved on your device
Two pieces of information are stored locally in your browser, and never leave it:
The theme chosen, light or dark, so that the page appears as you asked. The boxes ticked in the preparation checklist, so that your progress is there when you come back.
These items belong to local storage, not to cookies: they are not sent with your requests and serve no tracking purpose. They are strictly necessary for the features you have asked for, which exempts them from prior consent within the meaning of article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.
3. Anti-robot protection
When you use the alert form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived technical item to check that the request comes from a person.
This mechanism serves the security of the service only. It is not used for advertising and is active only on the pages that carry the form.
4. How to erase this data
In your browser settings, clear the site data for loreside.com. The theme returns to its default setting and the checklist empties.
Private browsing produces the same effect when the window is closed.
5. If this changes
If an audience measurement tool were to be added one day, it would be a privacy-respecting solution, without cookies and without personal data, and this page would be updated before it went into service. If a solution required your consent, a clear choice would be presented to you, with refusing as simple as accepting.
