What Rockstar announced

The album is called Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Rockstar describes it as the official soundtrack album, created in partnership with Atlantic Records.

It holds 34 original tracks and releases on 19 November 2026, the same day as the game. It can already be pre-saved on the major music streaming services.

The announcement was published on the game's official page and on the publisher's Newswire. The artist posts that circulated the day before were teasers for it.

The six singles released on 17 September

Yung Lean, That's It, featuring Future and Metro Boomin.

Travis Scott, RHYNO, produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Sexy Magic.

Vinyl and CD

The album will also be released on vinyl and CD at launch, and these can be pre-ordered now.

Three versions are exclusive to the album's own store, gtavi-thealbum.com. On 17 September the store listed them in US dollars: the limited-edition vinyl, two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, at $124.98; the splatter vinyl, two magenta discs with blue splatter, at $49.98; and the CD in a jewel case with its booklet, at $19.98.

Other vinyl colourways, each with its own art, are announced at Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent retailers. Their prices are not given in the announcement.

What has not been announced yet

The announcement does not say that the 34 album tracks play inside the game, or on which radio station. It presents them as capturing the energy of the game's world, which is not the same thing.

Rockstar says more details about the music will follow, naming the dynamic score and what it calls the next evolution of in-game radio.

Only six tracks are named. The other 28, and the artists behind them, have not been published.
