What was announced

Two models, shown at the State of Play on 3 September 2026: the DualSense Wireless Controller Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and its White Limited Edition counterpart.

Both carry a shimmering, colour-shifting finish, palm tree details moulded directly into the shell, and official game branding. The console maker describes the white one as Vice City at daybreak, the black one as its nightlife.

Recommended retail price announced: $84.99 in the United States, £74.99 in the United Kingdom, €84.99 in the euro area, and ¥12,480 in Japan, tax included for the latter.

Pre-orders opened on September 10, at local time

Pre-orders started on 10 September 2026. In the United States at 7:00am Pacific, which is 10:00am Eastern. In the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, at 10:00am local time.

"Local time" meant the opening did not happen at the same instant everywhere: each country on that list opened at 10am where it is.

Where they will be sold, and why that depends on your country

The white controller will be sold in limited quantities globally, both on the maker's direct store and through participating retailers.
